WOW...I am truly humbled at the responses. Thank you all for your sentiments and the warm welcome back into the fold.It has been a rollercoaster of emotions and a quagmire of legal wranglings, but it is thankfully over. While the death of a relationship, of the hopes and dreams you once shared with someone you care deeply about is no occasion for celebration, it does represent the closing of one chapter of your life and the anticipation of what new chapters will reveal.

I cannot possibly recount the numerous episodes tho I did keep a journal for my own sanity and to document what I knew would be invaluable in the judicial realm. I finally was able to stop that obsession with the settlement yesterday. And I quite honestly am in too good a mood all things considered to pore over it just now.

I found out who true friends were, rekindled dormant relationships neglected in the throes of trying to keep a mate happy and saw who the real snakes and phonies were.

I even started a men's club that now meets Sunday mornings at MY house for coffee and discourse: THMMAECWHC. OrTHE HE-MAN MIDDLED AGED EMOTIONAL CRPPLED WOMEN HATERS CLUB. And there are a lot of crazy women out there. But not all. Along the lines of the women's organization The Order of the Eagles, we have created a female auxillary cadre of sane babes to share our cynicism. In an effort to maitain the avarian theme we have dubbed them the SWALLOWS. And yes, we are actively recruiting for both organizations.:cool:

As soon as I come out of my numbed state I'll share some of the saga.

Glad you listened. I have a local friend that is living a life of hell with his wife, and won't even listen to reason.
