Any opinions on the new HBO Series " Game of Thrones" ?

Formula series - interesting if nothing else is on History or Discovery. I saw a couple of them. Into the fair blond princess that went to the hardcore warrior king.

I don't know how true to the book they'll be, but it was one of the most memorable books I've read in a long time. Just when you started to like a char, they kill him off, or make him evil to the core. It was VERY different than your usuual blond princess/warrior king saga.
