Bleh! Much better if you are in the oven or a toaster over so the cheese gets browned a little.

When in college worked at a pizza joint. Often made a sandwich for myself. 2 slices of Texas toast buttered both sides. Put ham, mushrooms, swiss on one side, pizza sausage onion and american on the other. Cook on pizza pan in pizza oven until toast is browned. As mayo, lettuce, tomato and slap it together.
Waitresses always asked for a bite while I was munching down on my lunch. Wasn't long before it was added to the menu as the Grilled Club Sandwich. Marco's Pizza lets you order sandwiches with ingredients off the pizza topings menu. Even though its not grilled it is oven heated, a sandwich with the same ingredients as the Grilled Club is still pretty darned good. You have to double the ham and mayo to get the best mix.
