Met Peter Gregg's grand-daughter
Last night while having dinner with my g/f and her pals it was revealed the girl siting diagonally across from me is Peter Gregg's granddaughter! I was talking about my car, having just plucked it from storage, she mentioned that she "preferred mid year-Porsche's" (and shes cute)
For those that never heard of him he led many Brumos Porsche's to victory: "In 1973 he won the 24 Hours of Daytona in a Porsche Carrera co-driven by Hurley Haywood. " (wikipedia)

Partly due to the curse of being such a perfectionist. Really a shame he was young, too. Talented guy.

Story I heard was a physical thing that would keep him from racing...racing was his life. So...
 He has a cute granddaughter...reminds me of my age. I was a member of PCA when he & Hurley were teamed up. Actually, Gregg was the more respected & known of the two back then. He had the nickname of "Peter Perfect"...
