Best model/way to carry spoon while workingout?

Really, any models are sweat friendly? Holsters no holster?

I'd be overjoyed just to be able to carry a spoon in my rental car where you live (and I'll be there in a week). Anyway, I've given this some thought since that mass killing at that gym in Pittsburgh a few years ago. I don't see how you can use anything other than a fanny pack or belly band and even then you're pretty much screaming out that you're packing. I suppose I could some tiny .380 and have Robar NP3 the whole thing, but it'd be uncomfortable and covered in sweat all the time. I can wring my clothes out after my workouts and I wouldn't want a nice gun subject to that much sweat.

If your fking Glock goes off and hits me in the leg at the gym, I'm takin your house.

Seriously though, can anyone recommend some waterproof holsters for me so I can carry in the shower?

A fanny pack is not screaming that someone is packing. As a matter of fact, 99% of the population's brains do not work that way. They would never conceive of the possibility that someone at a gym working out is packing. I guess a gun nut's brain is slightly warped in that regard

Fanny pack may be OK. I'd think gym bag or small back pack with a water bottle and towel to throw off any suspicion.

Why in the world would anyone wear a fanny pack at the gym other than to conceal a gun? They flop around a lot if you're on a treadmill-like machine and they get in the way if you're on any weight machine other than just using free weights. My gym has a policy against having gym bags anywhere on the floor. Even if they didn't I'd never ever carry a gun that was not on my person or in a locked container 100% of the time. Arms length in a gym bag is very bad, both tactically and legally. My gym has lockers and my bike has lockable side cases. When I'm working out, the most I have in my pockets is my Blackberry and a handkerchief. My iPod clips to my waistband. I did see a guy wearing a fanny pack in there last week and I immediately though "gun." But then that's totally legal around here, just looks kinda cheesy.

This is why.

At least 4 die in gym shooting near Pittsburgh - CNN

How many gyms have you seen with metal detectors or an armed guard at the door? This nutbag was free to shoot as many people as he had ammo for. No one could stop him. Think about it. A gym is one of the few places even the gun nuts don't bother carrying into.

I put mine in a plastic zip-lock bag and put it on the soap dish ledge. Be careful you don't grab it by mistake when you reach for the soap. Boy, do bullets ever ricochet in tile showers!

When I go to the gym I put my bagged spoon in my jock strap; makes a VERRRY impressive bulge! And No one will say anything, unless, of course, you go to one of those gyms where the gays go.

Good timing that this thread came up.

What would be the best way/spoon to carry while shagging the missus?

Try deepconceal.com (busty model not included with purchase) or Kangaroo Carry.

Oh, that's never a problem. I have grab guns throughout the house, one under the bed and one in the nightstand. When out by the pool at night, well, that gets tricky.

Being called warped with regard to guns by anyone from Kalifornia is pretty rich.

I am from Montana. I have guns. I don't wear them on the treadmill. Although I did see a guy with cowboy boots and Wranglers on the treadmill once. I should have been armed. You just never know.

Maybe he's not in the gym.

I could see the validity of carrying while jogging-

Then again if he's in the gym and working out then you are asking for it. Good way to get someone hurt, it isn't necessary with all the people, cell phones, desk phones, crowded etc. etc.

I'd be pissed if I saw someone armed while lifting weights, not to mention the management would probably have issues with it.
