He is living now but I predict this will eventually kill him. Then people will all pretend it's a tragic accident when in reality it is slow suicide.

Iffn he wants to tempt death that's his business, good for him.
But it probably the most dangerous STUNT I can think of, and you can only tease the tiger for so long ................

I caught a bit of that on the news yesterday. As I was looking over some work, I didn't/couldn't pay much attention. I thought it was footage for a new superhero movie.

Did he use Grand Canyon for the background or the thermals?

Thermals, no. That rig glides like a rock.

Comment from YouTube:

That must feel better than having sex while on ecstasy, in a tub full of lime jello, while three elves tickle your tush with a peacock feather.

Very cool, but is it really that risky or dangerous?

He has a parachute, and he comes out of a helicopter, so he always has plenty of altitude to deploy it at all times.

I first saw him on TV several years ago. Wolfe posted his website above - check it out, look at his sponsors. This guy is no bozo.

You'll die, too. So will I. Difference is that he's a human rocket man and we're not. Avoiding death is a poor design for living.

I dunno - I wear a helmet when I ride my bike to avoid death. I have a wife, kids, grandkids, sister, all of whom I think of when I consider "risky behavior". I didn't used to, but I do now.

I enjoy my life just fine.

You're a doctor. Come up with a cure, damnit! It's tragic how life, no matter how carefully you live it, always ends up killing you.

Doctors have an intimate relationship with the Reaper. And we all see it differently. I view my mortality as a challenge. A challenge to live well and do more. If I spend my final days in a nursing home fighting bedsores I will be bitterly disappointed.

The idea of checking out with a rocket strapped to my wings is almost comforting.
