Last fest I attended, my girl and I walked out of Tipitina's just about this time (Monday morning, 6 am) to a surreal scene...cops said "Get in the taxi or go to jail"...maybe Jim didn't listen :)

Jim, I was in New Orleans all last week. Stayed at the Prince Conti on Bourbon and Conti. I wish I would have known you were there!

Eric...wish I had known you were in NOLA. Where did you go/what acts did you see?

We were in NOLA to see our friends play a gig at the House of Blues Tuesday night. We got there Sunday night and saw all of the normal touristy stuff all Monday and Tuesday AM. We really kept to the French Quarter. I used to go every year. This is my first time back since Katrina. Not much has changed, considering.

It's a beautiful city
