SHHHH...Dueller slipped into NOLA for jazz fest...

...via Amtrak under cover of darkness sporting sunglasses and a scraggly beard. And a redhead as an accessory. So far no arrests or incarcerations.:Dhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/silly.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...leys/freak.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/beerchug.gif

Cool, taking the train to New Orleans. Seems like Arlo Guthrie sang about that.

We still need a run down of the last NOLA adventure. Hopefully no jail time, this time.

Remember, Friends bail friends out of jail. Best friends are sitting next to you saying "Wow, that was fun!"

You realize of course that since the D is done, photos are not verboten any longer.

I know how you feel, Jim. After 23 years in a trainwreck/marriage, I divorced about seven years ago. And last week was my first full week of unemployment after a fairly hellish last two years. I am breathing deeply and smoothly now, and very much enjoying my life. If we make good decisions, it just keeps getting better and better. As I say, I have some idea how you are feeling. ENJOY!

RWebb 05-08-2011 10:08 AM

so what did you listen to?

what stands did you eat out of?

Heel n Toe 05-08-2011 01:56 PM

cgarr 05-08-2011 02:21 PM

I 'spect one of my favorite "bar bands" is wrapping up their 33 year run just about now...I think closing out the fest one last time is their final gig though I haven't seen them in several years. Wish I was at the grassy big stage one last time to see the Radiators. I tended to be on a liquid diet while festing, but my "secret" was to grab something from the stands on the way out for an evening meal, before the nighttime club activities began (just as good as the fairgrounds shows). I always made it a point to hit the Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Crawfish Monica stands at least once a fest and a "doctored" Mango Freeze is a great beer break :). My last fest was right before K...to many great memories to go back and ruin "what was" and aint never coming back. Hope you had a great time Dueller!

Hmmmm....... Dueller is not responding. He may be in trouble. Somebody ought to go down there, visit various jazz clubs, talk with the attractive women and see what they come up with.

porsche4life 05-08-2011 06:30 PM

Aight, shall I start taking the collection for bail?

red-beard 05-08-2011 07:15 PM

porsche4life 05-09-2011 01:16 AM
