Wired also has a tear down of the tracking device

Is anyone surprised. I think the thing to do would be to find a semi in a rest stop to attach the thing to. Send the FBI around the country. That might be fun.

I bet they can track you with your own cell phone. They will be some bored stiff suckers that track me.

nynor 05-09-2011 12:43 PM

Yea, and with an iPhone you can't take the battery out to really kill it. I guess you could put it in a steel box to keep the signal from getting out.

"The administration (obama's) is seeking to overturn a ruling by a lower court that law enforcement officials must obtain a warrant before using a tracker."

this is because they want to track your car in order to tax by the mile. this would require that EVERYONE have a tracker. its a fun new world we are living in.

It doesn't matter if you are doing something wrong or not. What matters is that the government is engaging in a practice that is counter to the 4th amendment. That affects every citizen of the U.S.

Or you could switch Airplane Mode to ON.

With a warrant I don't see a problem.

However if they are doing this without a warrant that's completely wrong.
What are the trying to achieve?
