My son is swimming with Michael Phelps starting today!
He's swimming in the Ultraswim in Charlotte today through Sunday.

We can't make it until Sat as my wife is working until Fri at 8 pm.
At 15, he's glad to be there. It's his first National Grand Prix event before he goes to another one in July, then Jr Nationals in August, both in CA. I told him to tell Phelps to "hold my beer and watch this".

I don't think Phelps swims the 800 or 1500, so it looks likes he's safe this time.
My son came in 26th out of 60 who swam (7 scratched). He was the highest ranked 15 year old, swimming against guys who are 16-32 years old. |

Yes, we did, but when you're 15, I'm not sure how much he hears.
