My AWESOME Mother's Day Present!
I just got back from a trip to Alaska, so I figured that we would just pass on Mother's Day this year for me.
But that did not happen. Got my gift tonight! Check THIS out! Nothing says love like a 12 guage shotgun! Bad guys beware! Estrogen, red hair and a pump action shotgun. When I rack one in the Mossberg, the bowels of the bravest man shall loosen in terror. ![]() angela

Happy late Mother's Day! I so want to buy a Benelli M1 for no good reason.
Byron really needs to post a Mother's Day thread. IMO, he pulled off the coolest Mother's day gift ever . Freaking awesome. Seriously, if you haven't heard about it, you should ping him and ask.

Gee, is that for duck hunting? No, wait, duck hunting is what happens with Cheney. Anyone with Cheney needs to duck. That gun doesn't have a friendly intentions vibe.

Hahahaha! Yes indeed, whatever the red-head with the gun says GOES - LOL!
I was actually pretty in-love with some of the Benellis. But I opted for a very much more affordable gun (and frankly, lesser quality) so that my husband could have something he wanted. The trade-offs were acceptable for me, and for the use I intend with this gun which is #1 - home protection, and #2 - killing zombies. ![]() What did the husband get? Well, he bought two AR-15s. I don't know why he wanted them, but if the guy is going to do a year of work in Afghanistan, he can have whatever he wants. Hey, speaking of zombies - did you guys ever see the funny plates I got for his car? Rule #2 for Zombieland - hope you get a kick out of it! He and I have a rather broad sense of humor! ![]() angela

No quality issues with the mossberg... I've got a 500 that I've put close to 10k thru, mostly skeet, trap, and 3 gun competition, no issues at all.

You know, Angela, I kind of wanted to meet you someday, but now I am too afraid.
I have the same shotgun. Unearthed it from my mess of a garage. |
