I've been a pilot for 26 years, since age 21, the last 20 of which have been spent with American Eagle. I've logged somewhere around 15,500 hours by now flying just about everything Eagle has had over the past twenty years - from 19 seat Bae J-31 and -32 turboprops to 34 seat Saab 340B's to 64 seat ATR-72's, and finally - for the past ten years - the 50 seat Embraer EMB145 Regional Jet. I learned how to fly in sunny SoCal, and instructed there as well, but my time spent with Eagle has spanned the entire country, parts of Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas - having been based at one time or another in LAX, MIA, ORD, DFW, JFK, BNA and RDU - which has given me a breadth of experience I could've never earned had I stuck to the LAX base alone.
