The Hangover 2
If you didn't like the first one, don't bother seeing this one. The humor will be lost on you. You will be grossed out. You will be offended.
However, if you did like the first one this one is worth seeing. And not just in the "it was a decent sequel" kind of way. If you thought they couldn't possibly top the first one, you'd be very, very wrong. Other than the whole blackout gag being repeated, it wasn't a rehash of the first movie. Fortunately, the commercials DID NOT ruin the funniest bits in the movie. (Actually, I think it would be against FCC regulations for them to attempt to.) What if you didn't see the first one? Do you like humor that is wrong by every objective standard. Do you like being offended? This is your movie. Do you like romantic comedies starring Hugh Grant or Kate Hudson? Do you think Jeff Foxworthy is the funniest guy on the Blue Collar tour? Does Bob Sagat offend you? This is not your movie. Pretend it was never made. Don't look at the posters in the theater. Turn off the TV when a commercial airs. It's too risky for you.

entertaining the idea

I keep hearing mixed reviews, which is a little odd. It seems that people love it or hate it.
I will wait to see it on demand at home.

Love it or hate it applied to the first one too, which I thought was so funny I nearly sharted myself.

I didn't think the first one lived up to the hype, but it certainly had its moments. Chow was probably the funniest thing about both movies.
Of course, they had to up the level of "disturbing" for the sequel.

The first one was loaded with great lines/scenes if you're predisposed to guy humor.
:there's a tiger in the bathroom" "was that the baby's head? "what's my tooth doing in your pocket?" "really?" but you had to be there to get this one

I saw the first one on the recommendation of far too many people, and I won't make that mistake twice.
