Ferrari Hatchback

I am sure this has already been posted, but I didn't see it:

A new Ferrari that's fit for a baby seat
Ferrari is looking to get a bit practical with -- brace yourself -- a hatchback. Mind you, this is no ordinary hatchback. With a cobra-like front end and a 660-horsepower engine, the FF starts at $370,000. Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the company's chairman, says the all-wheel drive car is intended for the man who craves a Ferrari but finds himself hauling a baby seat and sports equipment on the weekends. So far, his instincts have paid off: All 800 FFs scheduled for production this year sold out within weeks.

So, that's like 3k per HP over a panamera and just as awkward?

Uglier than snipper's women, but the reviews I've read claim its faster around the track than a 458. Amazing Ferrari engineering. One reviewer said something like, "This is the first car I've ever driven that when I stomped on the gas pedal, my face hurt". I LOL'd at that.

Cool shooting brake. The AWD pulling power from the front of the crankcase is neat (okay, Chevy did it originally for racing applications before it was shut down for budget reasons).

Think of it - they sold 800 of them at $370 a pop. Almost $300M. That will buy a lot of chianti.

A Panamera is NOT awkward. I'd hardly expect a Ferrari to come close to the Panamera. I'd be surprised if the two matched eachother in awkwardness.

I've had a Quattroporte and a Panamera S4 back to back. The Panamera was a very clear winner.

I should clarify. I think the Panamera is an awesome and incredibly competent car. It handles incredibly and even the base model has serious get up and go. I just still think the aesthetics are awkward...

Size 24 clown shoe.

I think it's an interesting Social Experiment. It proves you could put a Ferrari badge on anything, and lots will think it's cool.

If that exact car were wearing a GM badge, it would be flogged mercilessly here and everywhere else. Really, just look at that thing. It's proportions are so out of whack, it's like an 8 year old drew it on his Pee Chee.
