Absolute respect to this guy, but looking at past VC recipients, there's a common theme, extreme gallantry while saving others. Most VC recipients never get to collect their medals - there are only 8 alive today, 5 VC, 2 VC (Australia) and 1VC (New Zealand). Johnson Beharry got his in Iraq but went to extremes not once, but twice in a few days.
