Is Cars & Coffee on this weekend?

I will be in OC at the Hilton Irvine / Orange County Airport from Thurs - Mon & I was wondering is this on this weekend? Every weekend? Where? Time? Or does anybody want to get together? My sched is loose except I will be working an event in Century City Wed night & a show at the Hilton for the weekend during the day.

You can Google cars and coffee, they have a site map. Its not hard to find. And is a must do. Plan on getting there early, like 6;30 or 7 am. it is over by 9;30 or 10am. there is lots to see and barely enough time to check it all out.
The variety and quality is mind blowing, very easy going event, fun folks there to connect with.
When I come to L. A. My family is in South Pasadena. So I head out around 530 so as not to miss those that leave early. It really is that good!!

Alright Ian, the event happens in the parking lot of a Mazda design plant that is on Gateway, you can take the Alton Parkway exit off the #5 freeway, I think that is the Santa Anita freeway. Off the 5 you go west on Alton parkway, then Rt on Gateway.
It happens on Sat. mornings early.

The Hilton is near 405 but I can also surface road it since I am close. Is 5 that bad? I know it was a POS last Jan when I was there but it still moved. I saw bad in Istanbul 2 weeks ago. On one freeway before the bridge, vendors walk the lanes selling crap.

Nope, the 5 is wide open at that time on Saturday morning (usually).
it was mistakenly called the santa anita freeway instead of the santa ana and Dean and I had to crack some dumb jokes. Just having some fun, no offense.

I am working THE Show @ the Hilton. A dealer - but not mine - is bringing our big speaker & I have been called in to bless them & to hold hands. Although in a hotel venue, they certainly won't sound their best.

You are taking the 405 anyway, not the 5, and then north on the 133 (Laguna Beach Fwy) to the 1st off ramp. Do not miss the off ramp or you will be on a toll road with no place to exit. That 1st off ramp is Gateway and leads straight to the event. The off ramp says "Barranca" but it's not Barranca you land on. Just go straight.

Or you can use the surface roads, but you will wind around and get lost unless the GPS is better than what they used to be.

I would take the surface streets, get on Alton and go east to Gateway, turn left. It will be easy.
