Impt. Sentencing Coming up soon...help us
I hope the Mods or Wayne do not delete this but I'll give it a shot anyway. We were told a couple years ago not to mention this guys name again but....
The sentencing for one scum bag perp, Jimmy Deering, is happening on Friday, June 10. Apparently the DA (actually a DDA) is tired of this and all the delays so is likely to just lay down and accept what the Def Atty asks for, maybe even 'time served', God forbid. If enough folks write the DA's office and push for a stiff sentence perhaps we'll get some justice instead of just a weak plea deal. This guy Deering, in case you don't know, ran a chop operation in So Cal for years and in North Cal before that. He ripped off dozens and dozens of guys and got me for $5K as well. He had a Pelican user name and used the forum to find his victims. He is a life style felon and "gangsta" wanna be but does not qualify for three strikes...yet. He has also physically threatened a few of us. He needs to 'go away' for a long time. It's been a long hard fight to get this far so please help out if you can. These are the email addresses to write to. Just write to one and CC the other and push for a strong sentence. You can help. aenciso@sbcda.org jhill@sbcda.org Wayne/mods....thanks for allowing this, if you do...it'll be over soon. |

Our local car thief just got out of jail after a 4 year sentence for grand theft auto, and operating a chop shop. There a couple of people who have been waiting for this day. He sold a bunch of cars/trucks, and when the hammer came down, if you owned one, you lost it, and there were no repercussions. He also had a couple of other businesses involved. I know of one good body shop that had painted a couple of cars for him that was shut down, door padlocked for 2 years while the investigation went on. Some of the people were involved, and knew they were buying a hot vehicle, or helping with his efforts, but there were lots of innocent victims as well.
Hope he gets what he deserves. I started my business in his building, he was my landlord. I was always suspicious of his activities, but once it became clear to me what was going on, I got the hell out of there. Good thing too, because it seemed as if anybody around him had to lawyer up, whether they were guilty or not. I was in my early 20's when I rented from him and I give myself regular pats on the back for not giving into temptation. When I told him I was leaving, and not renewing my lease, he offered me a brand new Corvette, no strings. NOT! He had over 50 counts against him when the smoke cleared, and his sentence was 4-14 years. Out in 4 with good behavior. |

Thanks TW... I did hear a lot of what you just said from other sources some time ago...knew you were taken along with so many others. The CHP guy you spoke with was likely Dave Yokley. He did a great job.

Has anyone gotten an email back from our public servants?
|
No...I don't think you can expect that. It's enough that they get the message....

CA. has been ordered bt the the supream court (fed.) to release something over 30000 (IIRC) criminals due to prision overcrowding. Having this back guy on the streets may be a result of that......better him than some child raper. If your relying on the PRofCA to protect/defend you, you're SOL.
