Vash I hear you about the challenges of hunting in Cali. And have seen some shows about the quest for the illusive Ca black tail deer. A worthy challenge.
But don't dispair I'm going to let you in on a secret spot for deer. shhh, keep this to yourself. Don't let this get out.
I know a spot where you can walk out the door, knock an arrow, and walk up on a choice of dear at close range within a few blocks. And most of the neighbors will cheer your thinning the landscape eating herd.
And where is this hunting nirvana, you ask? Why its Cambria. The place is crawling with deer. They are climbing thru the yards, eating up landscape plants, creating general mayhem. I don't know why all the residents don't bow hunt every day.
What those neighbors not cheering will do I shudder to think.
