Huntsman isn't a cookie cutter conservative Republican. He won't get the nomination because the fringe won't tolerate his moderate positions. He's Romney II without the baggage and plasticity. I'm not sure the eventual GOP candidate has even declared yet.

Huntsman probably knows he won't make it past the crazy filter (primary), but he will get exposure that will prove useful in 2016.

For me, he is a competitor to Jindal.

We had two actors, and both were lousy. Both left office with larger debt than when they came in. Only one left with more kids than when he came in.

Yeah, I don't think you'd get a positive consensus on Ahnold. To the GOP, he was a RINO, and to the rest of us, he was all bluster and no result. I think the deficit grew 20% during his administration. I don't know that he kept any significant number of businesses from leaving, which seemed a big deal to him early on.
