Unhappy with your Porsche? Kill it.

Well, so much for all Porsche owners being happy with their 911 (well … M96 996).

Picture: © 2100 John Beauchemin / Rex Features

Quote:
An anonymous owner of a Porsche 911 donated his troublesome car to a local gun club rather than pay more than $20,000 to have it fixed. The wealthy motorist was so fed-up with the car's constant engine problems he was happy to see 140 members of the Massachusetts club Comm2A fire 10,000 bullets into it. Photographer and gun enthusiast John Beauchemin says: "By the end of the shoot, the Porsche was so perforated that it was folding in half under its own weight. It was hauled off to the junkyard on a flatbed."

I wonder what the story is?
Can anyone find the owner and have him post here?
License plate seems to be Massachusetts MGL 140.

Best,
Grady

more than half of the posts on the first page of the tech forum on any given day belong in OT... including this one by Grady. Who made you the pelican police?

That's painful. Someone should remove the pic. from the land of keeping these cars running.

Far as I'm concerned, this should happen to all 996's...

Seriously...the same. Only difference is that if it was a Mustang? Most of those on this board would cheer...Let's face it, all car makers have made terrible models...they just didn't all sell for as much as the 996 did new...
