if you guys saw the photos, she'd win the "hottest significant other of pelican parts" award. think Maxim model look. her having severe psychological/emotional issues, and me moving away from Indiana didn't help the situation. both of her parents died, and she inherited more money than she knows what to do with. and in some ways, it only hurt her already damaged emotional state. ...not as fun as it sounds to be around.

Unless I've missed something (which is possible), GT2 have never come with all wheel drive. They are RWD only (weight savings over the regular turbo). But the rear engine would help the GT2 off the line over the ZR1.

Not Top Gear, nor a GT2...perhaps that American Muscle Car exhaust is fading your memory:

Nope...the run I saw was a flying mile on an airport course. Narrators and drivers were definitely British...

(edit) This one...

ZR-1 is quick but 126mph trap speeds are not anything insane.

From a car designed for road-racing that is geared for 200+ mph top speed, I'd beg to differ. It is brutally fast.

I would have expected more mph as well. I know it's comparing apples to oranges but a stock Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle will run 20 mph MORE in the 1/4 mile and it is also geared to run close to the 200mph mark (although electronically limited to 186mph since 2001).

Speed is cool.
