I don't remember Stephen Stills being mentioned in the "best guitarists" thread...he's up there too imo. Remember the "Stills Young Band"? "Long May You Run" was one of my favorite albums way back when...

im 50 and have been following stills forever. "midnight on the bay" was on that tour and the album. lucky both are still alive after that coke filled tour. they damn near killed each other.

manassas was my favorite. saw manassas and whatever lineup each time they have played here in phx or denver.

sat outside celebrity theatre here in phx. and partied with stills with my buddy for about an hour. GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH, still to this day hanging on wall in front of drum set. real down home nice guy to us. just shot the breeze and really had a fun time with him.

plus he used to race OFF SHORE BOATS!

killer cd if you can find and it is out of print . i am staring at the wall art right now is "RIGHT BY YOU". cat hull off shore racey boat launching into space was the album cover.

I can't even begin to count all the gigs I've played at Skipper's Smokehouse. You must have gone to HS with my old drummer, he always talked about Stills going to his HS. I miss Tampa. Especially now that it is 22 degrees up here!

Prostate cancer, if caught early enough, has a huge survival rate. 90+ percent.

With the laparoscopic robotic surgery, the surgery to remove the prostate is very easy... some go home the same day. No pain. Also minimizes the dreaded side effects.

Get the blood test done. Here, a TV station has a 'health fair' - can run in and get it in a few minutes.

Could save your life.

Get this....my doc advised AGAINST getting the blood test done. No family history, no symptoms, 48 years old. He said there are many false positives which means complete work-up (read: biopsy collected via an endocavity Ultrasound probe up the ass, with a biopsy gun that shoots core-grabber into your prostate). He went on to say that if you have prostate cancer under the age of 50.....you're going to die anyway...so...fughetaboutit.

How about them apples?

go get a new doc right now.

the first time I had the blood test done, I had a high number, biopsy found 25% cancer, had it out within 3 months.
