Ultrasonic
I just picked up a mini-industrial (0.7l) cleaner.
I dropped in my road-bike chain, still dirty from Cape Cod. WOW! It looked like smoke coming out of the chain. And was that stupid thing dirty. I decided to drop in a used/broken set of dog teeth. And again, wow, it really took a lot of muck off the thing. I definitely need to buy the bigger/heated unit! |
Any pics?

That's a good price for a decent unit.
I got a 1 gallon unit for cleaning spoons. I can put them in whole and they come out clean. I got the 1 gallon version of this unit, which I no longer see for sale. Amazon.com: SharperTek Digital 1/2 Gallon Ultrasonic Heated Cleaner: Automotive |
There is a 9 liter heated one sitting in my saved kart, for $379. It has almost double the ultrasonic power of another one for $299. That one should be able to take rifle parts...
|
I think that unit only has one transponder. It should have at least two for that much fluid.

Amazon.com: Commercial Grade 9 Liters 540 Watts HEATED ULTRASONIC CLEANER: Home & Garden
It has 4 transducers, with 240 watts of ultrasonic cleaning power. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51AHDjwUyaL.jpg |
have you tried it on any rodents yet?
