That's an early model of a classic sports car. Good investment, but a little slow by today's standards. Nice driver.

I would find it hard to turn down if the price were right, but I'd rather have a track ready version.

Absolutely. In fact, when there was a moment that it appeared I might not find the 911 I was looking for, I considered an Alfa instead. 60s Alfas are the best looking "affordable" cars around IMO

Cognac....Period Colour...fantastic. I´d go for it. As long as rust isn´t an issue and its mechanically sound this car will be buckets of fun

Certainly looks like on. Even looks like it has the bertone name behind the bottom of the left wheel arch. The 1300 I´ve seen in europe did have one bar going across the from grill whereas yours has 3

I love the car and the color. Agree that it's gotta be rust-free or walk away.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior, 1965 - 1971...that looks like a fine example.

That's a 1600GTV, not a 1300 Junior. You can tell by the seats. The standard 1600 & 1300 coupes had flat back seats without the side bolsters. Also, the 3 horizontal bars on each side of the grill are a clue.

Cool car! If you can afford it, and it is in good shape, and it would make you happy....buy it.

Would I buy it????????/

Yes, great car. I helped build a 1750 turbo engine to go in a slightly later model back in the mid 70s. It was equipped with a turbo and the Alfa Spica mechanical fuel injection with a modified space cam. Very, very fast car. And, it belonged to a very attractive young lady from Atlanta, Ga.!

Every Alfa owner should also own a Porsche, and every Porsche owner should also own an Alfa. Two very different but somehow complementary worlds.
