Nothing good happens after Midnight, Honda vs Porsche

LOS ANGELES, Calif (KTLA) -- A driver is dead after crossing over the center divider and colliding head-on with another vehicle on Sepulveda Boulevard early Saturday, according to a statement released by The Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim, a 28-year-old Los Angeles resident, was driving a red 1987 Honda Civic northbound just after midnight when he crossed over the center divider into oncoming traffic, according to the statement, and slammed head-on into a 2001 Porsche Carrera in the 3700 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard near Valley Meadow Road in Sherman Oaks. He was taken to a hospital where he dead a short time later. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of kin. The driver of the Porsche, a 61-year-old male from Encino, sustained minor injuries. Neither car carried any passengers.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
