user control panel question

I tried to find this in FAQ's and used the search feature with no luck.

Some members posts show a line at the bottom of their posts and below that line they list their current and/or previously owned porsches, other cars, other info, etc..

I thought that might be called the "signature" in the user control panel. I made a message in the signature textbox then hit the submit button, but my message never appeared at the above mentioned location....or anywhere else.

How does one put this message below their posts? And if this is NOT the signature.....what is it called? I've only made one post so far, actually two now including this one....and made it before I tried the signature.

Joel's right. After you set up your signature, it takes awhile for it to show up.

I'm surprised that Turbolader was not taken as a screen name years ago LOL.. Good work!

Yes TimT,....you are very observant. If I remember right last december when I signed up.....I tried several other names first that were already used......and turbolader was still available. Now I will need to work my way up to owning a 911 turbo......as I am still working my way to my first non-turbo 911....but hope to get there within a year or so.

I had a 1965 356C with disc brakes many years ago. It was a project car that I never finished but sold for a quick profit.
