Need help repairing an old keyboard> Kurzweil K1000
So daughter borrows keyboard from friend (where it has been sitting unused for some time)
Long story short... falls off stand breaks key to the far right. Wife being the type of gal she is is mortified and wants to get it fixed. We have a Roland keyboard here at work that I have replaced keys on, not that big of a deal. Looked it up online and seems to be similar procedure to replace the key on the Kurzweil K1000. First, I need to know what note that key is, 76 key keyboard far right? Second, the Kurzweil is not as popular as the Roland and I am having a hard time finding replacement parts. We have found a Kurzweil Guru in Washington state however his phone is disconnected and he is not responding to email so I don't have high hopes there. So... anyone know what that key is and or where I could get one?
