Somebody has kahoonas about the size of Texas to pull this just 100 yards from the interstate. At least they were thoughful enough to leave the trucks sitting on blocks.

"When I pulled up to see how bad it really was, it was very shocking,” Bobo told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth. Bobo arrived at his dealership to find 35 trucks and SUVs sitting wheel-less on small wooden blocks, with nothing but loose lug nuts hinting at what was missing. Bobo said that his estimated losses are around $150,000".

BOBO.....LOL what a clown...

Sounds like and inside job. When I first got in the car biz, I worked for a Mitsubishi dealer. Over the weekend, our lot got hit. 16 Eclipse wheels were missing, and a bunch of stereos.
My boss calls me into the office, and wants to know what I was doing over the weekend.
I basically told him to go f#*!#k himself, and that just because I was a long hair, did not make me a thief. He checked both of my cars stereo's over the next few days, He tried to be sneaky about it, but our parking area was right outside the shop, and I watched him look in both cars. I quit that job a few days later, it was a crappy job anyhow.
My boss's nephew had also worked there. Wouldn't you know it, a couple of weeks later, they find a Mitsubishi stereo in the kids bronco.
A couple of years later, my old boss comes into my shop trying to sell me amway. I advised him that it would be wise to leave the premises, that was a feel good day.
The wood blocks are on old school way to steal wheels, your first loosen the lug nuts, then you set the blocks up under the axles/ control arms, and let the air out of the tires, and slide the wheels right off, no jack needed, that is exactly how they stole the wheels from our lot.

not sure how they can do the block without a jack trick, if they put the block on the brake rotor.
That wheel is normally around the rotor..

Looked like all the high end GM vehicles, and they mentioned the wheels being custom. 1k per wheel is feasible....

Same thing happened at 2 dealerships here.

Also, scroll down a bit on this link to see what happened to some new local police cars waiting for radio installation at the local Motorola shop:
