24 Shells web hosting?
 

Any experience with these?

Never heard of them.

Their forum is pretty slow.

This thread indicates they are a reseller, they don't directly control the equipment.

If I had to guess I'd say they resell for the former Planet Hosting.

IMHO, Hosting is so cheap these days that it really does not pay to go with anyone other than one of the big outfits. YMMV

2008, which is why I said their forum is slow, as in little activity.

How much hosting do you need? I run quite a few domains off a linode.com machine - in 8 years I've only had one issue that was an upstream (from the hosted "box") one beyond their control...

24 shells? I don't even know how to use the 3 shells...

Apologies in advance for responding to old thread. We just came across this thread in our search and wanted to clear our position.

We indeed hosted our servers in Theplanet datacenter between the period 2003-2011. Since 2012 we are operating our own datacenter space in New Jersey with our own network. All network and servers equipment are owned by 24Shells.
