I dunno about that, and it has not been my experience at all. They would like to be left alone to dine on ground squirrels -- just like everybody else. If you leave them alone they will most likely do the same for you.

If you mess with them they are likely to explain to you why that is a bad idea. Bears are smart enuff to not mess with badgers, you should be too.

Of course, honey badgers aren't very similar to badgers (the good ol' Murican badger, that is).

Well the badgers that we met on my Grand Fathers WISCONSIN farm would come looking for trouble. That was the one animal that Grandpa Gus would leave his fields if it started heading for him. THEY are ill tempered and are widely known to raid rabbit dens just for the hell of it and kill everything inside.

i love the vid by the op, i've watched it so many times.. it never tires.

Same dude has other animal vids, but none work so well as the badger vid.
