I'm asking a favor......

This fine man is my son in law and a wonderful husband and Dad. Let's get him where he needs to be! Everybody in the arts needs a break once in a while, this is his chance. Good Karma will come your way I promise. I'm donating my pay from the gig I'm doing on Sunday at Morainne park with The Rich Harper Band. Even a dollar will help him get to his goal. Cleveland Artists First National Exhibition by Brandon Juhasz — Kickstarter Thanks in advance to all...

If there were some examples of his art, it might be more motivational. I suspect that if you're backing him to us, and if he's been included by the gallery, his stuff is probably good, but seeing goes a long way.

I started a donation, but Kickstarter threw me off. Can anyone tell me something about Kickstarter? I was planning to use PayPal.

				Info - from David's daughter

Hello! I am David's daughter and I am so glad to "meet" you guys finally! My dad speaks so highly of his friends here on the PP forums. Thank you guys for your interest in my husband's project. Here is a little more info for those who were wondering: Brandon has a site with his work on it for you to check out. It is: www.brandonjuhasz.com Also, he writes a blog about the art world as well. It can be found at: http://hmnart.blogspot.com Kickstarter is one of the largest funding platforms for many types of creative projects. Please go to Kickstarter and click on the blue area at the very top of the page that says, "What is Kickstarter? Learn more!" and you can read a brief summary of what it is and how it works. This show is a huge milestone in my husband's art career. This will be his first NATIONAL show and he is showing with five other artists, some of whom have shown all over the world, have been written up in the NY Times, are represented by big time galleries.....this one could be a game changer for him! Thanks for your support! You guys are great! Sincerely- Chandra Juhasz Last edited by targa911S; 08-04-2011 at 05:04 AM.. Reason: Website link

The Kickstarter thing was a cinch, but a PayPal link would be easier. Suggestion- post a few pics of his work directly rather than wading through the video. It's cool and different, and I'm looking forward to my thank you 8x10!

Steve- thanks so much for your support! I think Brandon wanted to explain his process/mindset to everyone, and then figured they would check out his site to view his work. Below are two of my favorite pieces (which, by the way, I might have to donate money in order to get......I keep asking for them to get printed and framed for our house....with no luck! If I back him on Kickstarter he will HAVE to give me one! Ha!) And remember, these are made entirely out of paper! Makes you look twice to wrap your head around it! :-) Thanks again. Chandra | ||

An update from the artist.... "Hi everyone! First off I'd like to express my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support just 2 days in! Thank you so much you won't regret it your prints and art and letters will be great I will make them extra special. I think I might even spritz them with a little Drakkar Noir. Just kidding. Second, I heard there were some video problems with the audio. I fixed them, I'm not Shy Ronnie anymore speaking like I'm in a box. So please watch the video again if want, you can hear my ramblings much better. And last, for those of you who are the 25/75 dollar backers I am going to post sometime soon 4 choices of prints. You can email/message me through Kickstarter or through gmail and give me your choice. I had some people ask for certain prints so I thought if I put up 4 choices then everyone will be happy. For my 100 dollar donors you can pick any piece from Mechanical Bride for your AP print ( go to my website) grab the title and email it over. I want this to be you're choice. So stay tuned, I will post the picture choices for the 8 x10 editions shortly. I also wanted to remind you that the Kickstart is all or nothing so if I don't get out there and spread the word and I fail to reach my goal, no money or art will be exchanged. Sad face. So fingers crossed!! Again, thank you sooooo much. Talk soon, Brandon" and I thank you all too. Targa
