game day performer... hats

Doing some moving around of the “décor” at my house with my girlfriend present and she did not, nor has not apparently ever cared much for the display of “gamer” hats from yester year in a prominate living area space.... still taking her criticism under consideration, but it did take me back to the great days I’d spent in these two loyal servants..

The fetzer unit was the 1990’s carpentry day laborer until mid decade when I could no longer wear shorts to work. From that point on strictly recreation applications… the bill is torched from scratchin my head with it while cutting roofs n such, or hitting it while tipping a beer bottle in its later years..

The Porsche model was always full time recreation from early in 02 when I got my 1st p car. Good times in that hat at the track with, under the car of, or at casa ramos in willows with fellow bay area pelicans.. been to a bbq or two, asked to leave a bar while wearing it more times than I have fingers… even rode in a cop car once, and in that lil mix up we were never charged…

A gamer hat is not so much what it says, but how it fits your head and needs, how it returns from a run through the washing machine, what system and how it adjusts in the back. A bunch goes into the choice of a new gamer, much like a new wallet I reckon… have not had a new boy in a couple years and could never put either of the two above back in play. What makes yir gamer, and show off yir current gamer if you will…

bay area pelicans circa 2006 rained out at thunder hill while in rain gear service. worked well with all the gear oil embedded

Replaced my Colorado Avalanche hat which is in storage....

But I still have a full head of hair (thank God) so don't wear hats all the time, mostly for sun protection (ginger, freckles, the whole nine yards)...
