Hey, if I weren't there what it started, I wouldn't be driving to the part of town that's in flames and full of looters in the hopes of scaring off the mobs with one gun. It's not like every business owner that got looted was there when it started, armed and ready to defend. So of course, they're not going to go risk their lives even getting to their business to defend it once the mayhem is in full swing. I don't think such a riot could start in AZ because people are generally well armed and ready to defend life, limb and property and the bad guys know it. If it did start in one small area, you can be sure the folks in surrounding areas would take up defensive postures and keep the trouble contained. I mean, we have regular citizens openly carrying rifles and pistols on the street when Obama comes to speak here, just as show of protest. You think they'd all run and hide if looters came to their neighborhoods?

The more I read this stuff the more I tell myself I gotta go buy more ammo. I doubt I have 50 rounds of .22, 12 gauge and 9mm each. I'm way under protected.
Rick has seen my property, I could get them easily on the 300' driveway, and I don't think the average zombie is going to scale my hills to get to the backside of the place; too many easy pickings elsewhere. |
Hugh, I think you live just a little too far out to be targeted by the mobs. And your property is perfectly suited for easy perimeter defense. I have enough ammo to make it through the revolution and maybe even a few riots. There are good deals out there to be had.

Rick, you're right of course, I'm way too far out of town for the boyz to make it worth their while.
I guess I'm mixing thoughts, like going to and from work in Burbank, when the big bell rings. |
