at this point, the people who complain about paul's posts are more annoying then the stuff that he posts.
the last thread he started about the racing mustang was interesting. it was annoying to see people immediately jump down his throat.

My wife likes the Auburn Model 851 Speedster. More elegance to the design but I don't know if the trunks on those can hold more than a lunch bag.

i grew up very near where the Auburn's were built (Auburn, Indiana). The museum there is great...auburns, cords, and duesenbergs. neat place. (the origin of the phrase "it's a Duesie")

My dad was a Packard man and I loved the video. Great car and a great woman, the two were made for each other.

I forwarded this to my dad, who is a Packard man @ 86, and he really enjoyed it, as did I.
Thanks Paul! ![]()

This. Whatever Paul may be up to, if you don't like his threads, why check in ? Better yet, why not put him on ignore - UNLESS of course you have a personal vendetta, which is how it is starting to look. You know who you are. |

I spend a grand total of maybe 1 hour a day on the internet most days, and a smaller and smaller percentage of that time here. I've never put anyone on "ignore", I just do not read posts or threads started by boring or boorish people here, generally speaking. We're not curing cancer here, just shooting the schit. Opinions are allowed on anything, including the demise of PWD's value to Pelican. IMHO, of course. ![]()

Randy, you know me. You know I call 'em as I see 'em. It was intended as a warning, though certain people here will never believe that.

At the end of the day, it's only the internet. I'm not laying in bed thinking about anything here, I promise. Whether it's me being a dick, someone else being a dick, whatever...
