No more Cherry Pie...

Warrant singer, Jani Lane dead at 47. Found dead at a Calabasas, Ca. hotel.

The hair days sure were fun.

Rock on, Jani!

I always loved "Ode to Tipper Gore". Fun band for a glam band. I always got the feeling they didn't take themselves too seriously and were satirizing the hair bands a bit, even if they came off as one.

They seemed WAY too obsessed with sex, but maybe it was just part of the schtick. RIP. Sad to see someone go so young.

I wasn't a big fan of Warrant but I hope Jani rests in peace.

His real name was John Kennedy Oswald that's pretty creepy. My son knew him as a kid in Akron. Good guy. RIP.

Their "Uncle Tom's Cabin" was a way better song. RIP.

Died in a Comfort Inn. Not the most glamorous place in town. Its sad to see how people thought they were climbing the ladder of success only to find out the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall.

True story. Man that's lame, he never grew out of the drugs or alcohol my guess is some sort of od/drug related unfortunately.

First time I saw them a few years ago out in Las Vegas Great White opened and they were awesome then Warrant came on.... the rest of the band was tight but Lane was hammered couldn't sing at all and that was their first show together in years since then I think I've seen them twice with the new guy who's pretty good shame though he was a pretty good singer.

And for some coincidence I went and saw Steel panther last week and Bobbi Brown the girl from the cherry pie video was there, came out on stage still looking pretty good.

One of their best

RIP

#### Warrant....singing that song is what killed him, " the studio made me come up with a song and this is what I came up with.... I hated it and everytime I had to sing it", I like GNR better
