Our 1961 220SE Cabriolet
My Dad bought this car in 1962 for my Mom, we restored it 6 years ago.
As a child I rode in this car back and forth to the east coast several times. Lots of memories

That car and your garage thread are wonderful. I don't want to rain on your parade, but I judge Concours from time-to-time, and I'd ding you for over restoration on the underside and the wheel wells. Unless you could prove to me it came with that finish from the factory.

So the drive shaft is in an enclosed tunnel...neat..but a pain to feed through and re and re. Sweet car!

126 Coupe - That is a stunning restro, can we get pic's of the engine bay when you get a chance? Want to compare to the 1960 190 SL I bought this summer.
*** 1960 Mercedes 190 SL for $10K Story *** This cars are a whole new driving experience. Can't help but compare to a 1959 AH 1006-6 I had and then the 1962 XKE Roadster......The Merc is in a class by itself....
