Audible would be playing a message at that is not consiously perceived (can be either a normal message or backmasked, played in reverse. Visible would be showing a single image in a series of images (film). The one single image would be shown for such a short interval that it can not be individually perceived. (1/30th of a second or so) I don't see where the sentence (or part of) could carry any subliminal message, unless you are referring to the 'strategic' placement of capital words. BTW, the effectiveness of subliminal messaging is next to none has never been proven definitivly. (again AFAIK) |

Ok,
I think I don't understand the question anymore. Only thing I see that could be considered a 'subliminal' effect is the strategic use of capital letter/words, no? Or maybe this thread is about something else and I'm missing the point completely. (Which I sometimes am known to do... :)) |
I generally use capitalized words in Bold to for emphasis. In a recent post on this thread I used the word GENERALLY to emphasize that I was generally speaking and that it was not a hard and fast rule.
The designed effect was the use of 1930's as I outlined in a previous post...That there is no forward thinking, nothing new or Progressive about ideas from the 1930's. Just the same tired old cr@p that we have heard before. So Progressives are in fact reactionaries. Which is a contradiction in terms as to how Progressives like to think of themselves as being forward looking. |
