How Aware Of Subliminal Influence Are You

further the Liberal Progressive agenda has NOW PROVEN itself to be a FAILED NOTION of the 1930's.

The above sentence was posted by myself on another Thread on this Board. What makes it a very potent and affective sentence in casting aspersions on the "Liberal" agenda. What is it that makes it affective on a subliminal level.

This is not about politics but about being able to be influential by presenting information in a fashion that is conducive to ones point of view. The question is about awareness and being intelligent enough to spot it when you see it.

One maybe able to spot the subliminal agent, but does one know why it is affective...what is the mechanism that it plays upon that makes it so?

tabs 08-21-2011 10:26 AM

I see monsters under my bed at night....isn't that a wonderful line...doesn't it just convey images in your head? It invokes childhood fears...and said by an adult it makes one wonder about that persons veracity...

tabs 08-21-2011 10:31 AM

But the universe is made up of more than particles moving around...there is space. The rejoinder is "Yeah space right between your ears." That is another wonderfull notion of self depreciation that is right out of Mothers playbook,

tabs 08-21-2011 10:34 AM

What we are working towards is an understanding of images and the universal notions that they convey. If one knows how those images work one can be influential without one knowing it is being done. One can wield a sledge hammer with the most innocous of words and statements.

could it be that the best that the best way to to push a subliminal message is to, with slight suggestions, lead the reader to believe that they are the ones who know the right answer? --I don't know.

Ahhhh Yes,,and thoughtful post btw. Have you ever wondered about the use of the word "spoon" on this Board?

I can't count the number of times that I have heard the Boyz on this Board reiterate what I have posted in their own words, as their own ideas. Every time I read POP I just have to LOL....and that is why I don't tear into him with both guns blazing for his ad hominem attacks.

How much does Roger Ailes pay you to sit there all day and post this kind of stuff?

N?

Nice try at a subliminal message.
Anymore social experiments?

I just checked the FACTS folks.

-I did a search of TABS recent threads. Of the past 25 threads that he has started 23 of them have been in the Off Topic/Politics and Religion section, and 3 of them have been in the Off Topic section.

NONE are in any of the specific model rooms!

Does this guy even own a Porsche?

Go and look it up for yourself. I suspect that TABS is actually some employee of News Corp. who is paid to sit all day at a computer and post in the Off Topic sections of various automotive, boating, and other specific interest web forums about right wing politics. Roger Ailes, the President of Fox News, hires people like him to "load" chat forums like this in order to advance his right wing agenda. This in turn drives people to Fox News, and makes one Rupert Murdoch worth $8 BILLION!

DO THE SEARCH. Check "TABS" out, you'll start to see the thin facade that this person really is.

N!

N!

Hell yes, he owns a POS early S...probably worth restoration, but he's too cheap to do it.

Since when do you need to own a Porsche to post here in off topic anyway?

Sheesh!

Well Tabs, I'm sure that is mesmerizing to the right audience.

I'm sure you can't get X results with Y methodology. How's that for subliminal ?

U at least tried to give me an answer. If you think that is what it was give me a rational of what the image being projected is and why there is a hook in it.

And there is NO EXPERIMENT about it.

One considers U to be a member of the lunatic Left....it must be the water that you get up in the Bay Area. Any thinking person that is half aware could figure this one out. Mr Liberal Progressive ..

Perhaps a definition of the word Progressive is in order.

progressive - definition of progressive by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

pro·gres·sive (pr-grsv)
adj.
1. Moving forward; advancing.
2. Proceeding in steps; continuing steadily by increments: progressive change.
3. Promoting or favoring progress toward better conditions or new policies, ideas, or methods:

Hmmm what is the contradictory image I present in the initial sentence that I am asking about a subliminal message being sent?

Does this make your brains hurt? Thinking will do just that if your not used to it.

The subliminal message is the same as always before. You have a superiority complex.

No, wait. That's not so subliminal.

The reason why I have a "superiority complex" is because I have listend to people like you Post. It would make a tree dwelling creature think it is superior.
