Testicular Fortitude

WOW how many of us, (well prepared 944 drivers included) has this? I started watching the F1 race just now, (lost power due to that wimpy cat1 hurricane Irene), & David Hobbs says, "This circuit requires testicular fortitude".

So... What constitutes testicular fortitude?
Personally I can't wait to use it in a sentence

Driving these cars with those tires on this track at speed with virtually no safety equipment...

It's synonymous with another of my favorite Hobbs sayings: "Large Attachments"

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

I could also include someone looking carefully at your last post to the tread you started. Very nice I might ad, a classic look that is never go'sout of style!

Eau Rouge, plain and simple. Flat out at 200mph with no view over the top of the uphill turn. It's easy to see who is flat out and who is not. Flat out = testucular fortitude..

I married a redheaded puerto rican.

And I sleep with both eyes closed.

There's intestinal fortitude... and there's testicular fortitude.

They rate about the same on the bravery numerical scale AFAIK. Either is usually spoken in reference to one doing something that can kill you, right?

The movie phrase: "I have had better" comes to mind.

Testicular fortitude varies inversely with age, passing through testicular fiftitude, then sixtitude, its tudiness diminishing along the way until, eventually, no more balls to the wall, balls are on the floor.

You can get a glimps of what thse pre-'67 F1 drivers dealt with (no downforce or areodynamics) by purchasing the game Grad Prix Legends.

Free addons, and almost every track in the world is here: http://gpltd.bcsims.com/?dis=T&menu=Show_Letters

It's an old game which needs the graphics update, but there's been an incredible amount of coding invested into it.
