Opening day - Vash and I shot the crap
out of
a beer can a gatorade bottle and a drip line, which became collateral damage when the beer can ended up near it. A couple dove jumped up when we weren't paying attention and the only dove we saw after that were hundreds of yards away. 10 days ago there were a million dove - what the heck? I don't want to blame Cliff, but he was the only variable. . . Had a great afternoon with Cliff, Jennifer and Harry the dog, but it would have been fantastic if we could have killed some birds. Oh well, next year right Cliff? Around August 20?

thanks DAN.
i am flat out obsessed with finding a remington model 34. thanks for that. my wife gave me her best "disapproving look" when (before unloading firewood) i fired up the computer and went to Ebay looking for one. they are sorta rare!! i talked about it during dinner, during couch time, and right before i fell asleep. i had forgotten how much fun it was to shoot a well put together .22. I WANT ONE! if i cant find one, i will buy a modern model. but i loved those iron sights. as a bonus, i now have the best response if the lawyers ask me if i know the difference between a guess and an estimate. bring it! dan, you have a great family.

Vash, I have a Winchester Model 52 I'll never use.
