Recommendations for Bahamas in March

Looking at booking a family trip in March. 5 adults, 3 kids (5, 3 and 9 months). We'll probably rent a small house or condo, so I'm looking for recommendations as to what island or general area would be best. We don't really need much other than a nice quiet beach and a place to get groceries and whatnot. We'll be at Disney in December, so no need for excitement, etc. Any ideas?

Treasure Cay on Abaco has a great beach, but March may be a little cool. Exumas are further south and may have warmer waters, but as Canuck it will be plenty warm.

Lived in the Bahamas for a few years. Can recommend many places depending on what you and your family want....the Abacos are great...Eleuthera is cool..Exumas are nice. Turks and Caicos are also a good option.
What do you really want to do...dive, fish, drive, chill on the beach with a book?

We all want to do different things But generally just relaxing, enjoying each other's company, escaping the Canadian winter. We want to avoid any spring break Daytona Beach type places, for sure - the last thing I want is to be kept up by drunken college kids. Yet at the same time we don't want to be surrounded by seniors playing shuffleboard.

Snorkling on a reef? Fishing with a fun guy and going back to a private/deserted island to cook your catch? 90% of the vehicles on the island are golf carts? Goombay Smashes(rum punch)? Deserted white sand beaches?

Sound about right?

Green Turtle Cay..Green Turtle Club. Look it up and if it looks good to you send me a PM.

Ben

Went to Elbow Cay for my honeymoon, it was awesome and still is! You can have a house right on the water, take the boat around to Hopetown or walk there.

Fishing, chilling, romping...whatever. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

We went 20 years ago in March and it was COLD. No one was at the beach, it was too cold.
