I'll have some interesting insight on the technology tomorrow.

Apparently this isn't your standard padded stock concept. It is very similar to the set ups you see on biathlon rifles in the olympics.

I believe you. I said it doesn't bother me much.... 3 inch magnum 1-oz slugs from a rifled Remington 870 makes me somewhat unhappy.....

You really can't underestimate the difference the design and fit of the gun makes.

For example, a Remington 870 vs a Browning Citori Upland Special. Both 12 gauge, the 870 is heavier and has a recoil pad, yet the felt recoil is a little less on the Citori.

I have a friend that is in law enforcement. I've shot his 12 Ga. with a recoil-reducing stock. I'm 5'7" 140lbs., the recoil was virtually gone, 2nd shots were very quick and easy even with slugs.

Here is what we have. The item is similar to a flash suppressor but virtually negates all barrel rise.

I watched a video and spoke with the gunsmith who helped prototype it. The particular video showed him shooting an AR-15.

Zero barrel rise. Pretty amazing.

Like the old Texas Ranger who was asked "why do you carry a .45 auto pistol?"

His answer was "because they do not make a .46!"

Bigger the better and its hard to beat a 1911.
