Gotta love a "sport" where they force everything to be equal and call it "competition".

That's why they love arguments between drivers, that's the only drama it offers.

Egg-zactly... The old IROC series was always to be a driver's race. The idea was that the cars were dead even, may the best driver win!

NASCAR needs to just quit being silly and accept that format, after all, they've basically painted themselves into that corner. The whole concept that the "car of tomorrow" airbrushed to look like a Ford Fusion, a Chevy IMpala, or a Toyota Camry is anything but a nearly identical car across the grid is just ridiculous.

Of course, what I would really love is for them to go back to "real NASCAR" where you raced the cars on Sunday that you sold in the dealership on Monday. Knock this silly "car of tomorrow" thing out the door. If a manufacturer finds themselves getting their butt whipped on Sundays with their offering, well, maybe they shouldn't show up with a knife at a gunfight.

They need to race rental cars. On friday the teams all pick up the same model but random car form the airport. They install belts and numbers and NASCAR seals the hoods. Oh yea, they MUST buy the insurance. Equal cars
