I can't drive......55!

For those of you, like me, that can't drive 55....here is a classic video by a brother who has the same issue:

<object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RvV3nn_de2k?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RvV3nn_de2k?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Good song, nifty outfits

Didn't know there was a video for that song, good stuff. If I had a 512 I don't think I could drive 55 either....

Sammy becamse so famous with CHP after that video, that they started pulling him over for autographs and left him alone for speeding. He talks a lot about it in his book.

Last time I was there the infield looked like an artillery range. It's mostly just a weekend swapmeet now.

URY914 09-24-2011 09:39 PM

I heard an interview with Sammy and Eddie and they were intoduced to each other thru thier F-car mechanic.

Rick Lee 09-24-2011 11:50 PM

Sammy's mechanic is the guy with the accent at the beginning of the video, Claudio Zampolli. I think he's been doing his own builds for a while and no longer runs a repair shop for Italian cars. IIRC, most of Sammy's cars are serviced at the Mill Valley dealer these days.

Jared at Pelican Parts 09-25-2011 02:14 AM

Claudio Zampolli was also one of the guys behind the Cizeta V16T.
