what i miss the most about my career is the lack of hot women. sure, i'm married and faithful, but a few good looking woman would do wonders for morale. so the women we do work with, we put them on a scale we call, "Construction hot", basically a 4 point handicap.

you need to change your way of thinking. now how did you sleep?

Had trouble getting to sleep again. Even with taking sone Tylenol pm to help with my allergies and back pain.

"Construction hot" works in the IT world too sadly.

It's pretty funny, I work in IT now, which is metaphorical "famine". Before I worked in IT, I was a bartender in topless bars. Yeah, I really did go from FEAST to famine I think the only way my current famine could be worse would be if I worked on oil rigs, in a monastery or in a prison. Some days it makes me sad.

$200 and an hour can fix that ya know...

Hospital hot. We had that term, too.

But there are certainly some cute nurses/nutritionists/etc. "Teaching" hospitals don't just have young doctors going through residency--there are young nurses/techs/pharmacists/etc, too. ;)

I couldn't sleep last night, either, Sid. Lay there for about 2 hours. But you can probably guess why, based upon the delivery that arrived for me today.

Pretty little red dressed thing like that would keep me up for more than a few hours.....

Woke up, probably can't/won't go back to sleep (as I only need a few hrs per night) and found this thread :(. That wasn't the IT world I knew...getting my degree years ago (Computer Science), females were scarce when I started, but the dept. size exploded by the time I graduated so I used to do a LOT of tutoring (gratis) 'cause that's just the kind of guy I am :). Out in the "real world", I worked closely with one "hottie" (two different IT shops in different states) for 14 years who was as smart (systems programmer) as she was sexy. I always found EE (or any engineering for that matter) to be the femalian wasteland...

ps: Sid, for the puritans, tell 'em "The road to hell is paved with good intentions", followed up with "I ain't got no good intentions", and try to avoid the pills...not a good path to go down (but you know that already).

pps: I reckon I'll go fix some coffee...crap, I used to "just be getting home" this time of the morning when I was a youngin'. I'll fire up the wood splitter in a few hours, spend the day helping my dad, and won't have this problem tonight.
