-My definition: A duelly pickup truck without a company sign, four doors, and an obnoxious exhaust. An instant butthole qualification is any pickup with the exhaust pipes vertical via cutouts in the bed.

These 9000 pound pickups are usually purchased by short men with shorter penises, in my view. No, I haven't measured their cocks, but it isn't hard to figure out what they are compensating for! I have friends in Fort Lauderdale that have some of these really big trucks- Ford F350's with the Navistar engines, but they use them to haul yachts out of the water where they work. THAT is a REAL use of a big truck. As such, that is not a Butthole Indicator- it is a work truck.

A butthole indicator is a large pickup that is not being used to haul landscaping or heavy trailers. Just a large truck that exists. And does nothing.

Who would own something that stupid? Well, plenty of people! I run 10 KM each day in Fort Lauderdale, and I see this one house. Two huge F250's, one diesel, one V10, and both are jacked up 4X4's. And both undercarriages could be eaten off of, and they have been this way for the past 3 years!

Sick!

In the United States of America, you are allowed to own and drive anything you want. While I agree with that, I have to say that there are times when common sense overrides this law, or at least should!

Those trucks? They are certified BUTTHOLE indicators!

Harley-Davidson choppers, along with 15 year old Honda cars with juice can mufflers are the same way: Butthole indicators!

[For what it is worth, I used "butthole indicator" in place of A55hole indicator in each place!]

N!

+1 and I'd add any pickup the manufacturer has stuck a "Sport" decal on.

My butthole cruiser, just sold it two weeks ago.
I like it how it is ok to own a big useless truck to pull your luxury yacht, but no mention of the guy who uses one to haul construction equipment, or materials, to maintain his home, and buisness property. Or to snow plow his lot, or tow broken cars in for repairs, or haul firewood to keep his family warm. Or maybe to have something capable of hauling your race car safely, or to bring home the occasional project car, or maybe just because I am just a dumb arse redneck, and wanted one because I think they are cool..
Any how, here is to being a butthole, I have to go now, am in the middle of putting smokestacks on my new truck.
No offense meant to you in my former post Normy, green font intended. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm not defending Norm's rant, but..

I think that he was talking about people that have these trucks with no intention of ever towing or hauling anything with them. There are folks around here that but diesel trucks as sports cars and status symbols that put on mods that make them less functional as a truck.

Not 4 doors...a firewood hauler/hunting rig/trash hauler...But I gotta confess, if the "greens" passed a law saying only one vehicle per household? My choice would be a pickemup...

Actually, Normy says:

I have to agree. If the truck isn't being used for it's hauling prowess, it resembles, to some extent, peacock feathers.

I really dig my Dodge 2500. I would not give up the 8' bed for hauling, nor it's ability to haul the equipment trailer or dump trailer (both of which, kitted up are well over 10000 lbs). But why would a guy drive a big ass truck having little need for the capacity or the poor ride quality? I think the used truck market suggests that demand is weak. 3/4 ton diesel pricing does not look very strong.

So Tim, would that be the definition of VASI lights on someone's back?

Geronimo '74 10-02-2011 09:33 AM

The thing that indicates the butthole is the exclamation mark behind one's screenname...

+1. Definitely not defending Normy (you should read some of his posts in the local paper), but here in SoFla there are more huge pick-em-ups per square mile than in West TX. And 99.9% of these trucks never see any use other than hauling some pencil-dick at 85mph while tailgating in the fast lane. On occasion, you will see a real work-truck hauling/towing something.

onewhippedpuppy 10-02-2011 09:53 AM

If my lifestyle leads guys like Normy to call me a butthole, I'm doing something right in life.

masraum 10-02-2011 10:23 AM

I saw a dually here there other day with what looked like wheels from a big rig except that it looked like it had 35 or 40 series tires on them. It was lowered in the front, had side skirts, a front air dam, huge vertical stacks in the bed, a back bumper that had no way to tow anything and looked like the guy had tried to turn it into a sports car. When I saw it, the guy was on the side of the road getting a ticket.

pwd72s 10-02-2011 10:31 AM

A ticket????

You mean kind of like this???

Hey Normie, you don't really need a V-8, do you? You never get use all that horsepower... what's the top end on that thing?

C'mon, get yourself a Prius or a Miata and then you can be closer to what you're trying to be.

Then you can gripe about almost everyone... even people in 6-cylinder Hyundais.
