Chemical to Clean Oxidized Cast Aluminum??
Looking for a product to clean the white/oxidized crap off of the outside exposed engine block and cyl heads. Anyone here know of a decent product to spray on and hose off to get that 'new aluminum' look again??

Well, to a certain extent Aluminum oxide protects the surface. That is what anodizing is.

Aluminum is unique in that it will react with both acid and base PH chemicals. The above recommendations are probably fine. You need to recognize that the inherent porosity of cast aluminum will probably not give a perfect mirror finish. There are often small pits in the metal.

Metal wax has worked well for me in the past. Has a chemical to clean and then you wax it.
