Tell us more about the ACL surgery on your furkid? Billabong is still in rehab with hers (left rear).

Here's a yard I did not long ago....

Nice looking yard Bazz.
The little girl's knee would pop out, nothing to do with the ACL. So they tightened a couple ligaments & inserted two pins or screws into the knee to keep it stable. The same leg she dislocated her ip a year & 1/2 ago. Man is she a trooper. Just wish she wasn't such a banchy!!

OK Markus....that's cool. My rescue has the bad knees....2 surgeries so far - one on each leg. The older one Winkipop just goes and goes and goes.....never a problem, thankfully. They're such a good breed - give yours a scritch or 5 from my girls!

You got is Baz and back at em'. Hydro-seeded yesterday. We'll see. Would have loved to use turf but at 18,000 sq. feet not feasible, at least with my wallet.

I guess I'm some kind of eco nut, but I can't imagine wanting or trying to have that much grass. Why not plant a wildflower field? Much more colorful, no chemicals, no maintenance.

Another update, 2 years & a ton of money later and this is what I have now. It's filled in pretty good. We've had a wet & cold spring so far which is helping the lawn look like Ireland!! Almost back to where it was in 2012. (crappy cell phone pic)

I'll stick to rocks and cactus. Harder to kill rocks.

Thanks guys. I just like grass!

Shaun doing well thanks. Hope all is well with you.
Sydney I love cacti I have maybe 8 or so. If I lived where they lived outside I'd certainly have a rock, sand, & cactus yard.

What did you end up finding? I mean, did you determine what killed the lawn?

It looks beautiful btw.
