Stop deflecting, Paul. You make yourself out to look like someone with a first grade mentality.

Sid, I've often posted that the more coveted and sought after the early 911S became, the less I enjoyed it. You must have missed that as well.

If you're looking for practical reasons to own a 72 911, please stop. It isn't about practicality, it is a legend, an historic icon, fun to drive, responsive, impractical, and something you can proudly have in your stable and pass down to the younger generations.

If I ever grow tired of the 911, I've got two sons who will gladly take care of her.

The only modern mustang I care to own eats hay.

Ya got me there...if my daughter had been a car girl, I might have kept the car. Alas, she's not. Either she or her hubby would have trashed the car, or she'd have sold it to the highest bidder, then used the money to buy baubles...watches, jewelry, etc.

Evren was a good solution to my 911S problem.

The issue is Paul's constant baiting/trolling of the virtues of his Mustang, on a Porsche BBS. When people do become tired of his old man musings, he immediately calls them out as Porsche snobs. I mean, what's the point? How long are you guys going to put up with being called snobs? I find it very fascinating :)

+1.

I decided to take the high road ever since Paul didn't like my pictorials of all the great Fox bodies, and other Mustangs throughout their span of production. :p
