Long spoon bag?
Our range just got a new member that wants to change everything...not that that'a a bad thing, since in his mind it's for saftey's sake. We now have to have all spoons in a case or bag.
Little spoons are covered, but long ones not. I need 5 and hate to spend $125 per (what I found on CTD)...any suggestions to get from the car to the bench (20')

I never take more than 3 long guns to the range with me at any given time, so I have 3 cheap $10 hard cases.

Although I did move cross-country twice in a year, so I had to buy cases for everything. I have several two longspoon cases.

I just bought a nice bag for my PS90 on Amazon. Probably a $100 bag at Cabelas that was $30 on Amazon. For some reason gun bags seem to be obscenely expensive in the stores.

If you don't mind chinese made crap, there is a LOT of stuff for the airsoft market that transfers over to real spoons - including a PS90 bag with mag spaces, mag pouches for it, etc. All a lot cheaper than intented-for-real-spoon stuff, even though it has same dimensions, etc.

I find it interesting that one person can make new rules and put them in place? With our club we have NRA approved rules and regulations and any changes are set to members, commented on, voted on and reviewed by our lawyer/NRA rep. If the gun is not being shot then it is either in one of the several racks or the owner's case, mags out, bolt open/removed and safety flag inserted into the chamber.
Due to California laws we all have to carry the gun (any type) in a case when raveling. |
